Andy Miller built up two P70GSR coaches using Laser Horizons car sides. He provided the photos: one, two. He writes: "The cars are not yet finished. The handrails had not yet been applied to the sides when the photos were taken, and the interiors are not yet in. I modified the instructions a little in their construction. I added a strip of plastic over the letterboard to provide the relief found on the
prototype, and similarly, I added the beltrail built with a strip of .020 plastic on top of .030 plastic. Remember, this is HO. The floor is 1.25x .032 brass, and the roof is modified from a Rivarossi 10-6. The hardest part are the ends. They are made from .040 plastic with 1/16 inch channels for the doorposts. Over this is glued the letterboard extension cut from .020 plastic. The gap between the letterboard and the bulkhead is then filled with Squadron Green Putty and filed and
sanded to shape. The vestibule end then has the additional plates put on from the doorposts to the corners."
