CT1000 Home Page

The CT1000's were issued by the transportation department as way to standardize the reporting of sidings and locations on the railroad. The official title for the CT1000 was: List of Stations and Sidings and Instructions for Making Reports to the Superintendent Car Service. The CT1000 replaced the CR76 (Car Reporting) document in the 1895. Originally the CR76's and the CT1000's were published every year. It appears that the 1908 issue was skipped and then the railroad returned to every year in 1909. It was published in 1910, 1911, 1913, 1915, 1918 and 1923. Then after 1923 it was not published again until 1945. I currently own several CT1000's and I am always looking for additional ones. The information listed below are from dates that are relevant to the layout.

It is interesting to see how the line side business changed frequently and also how the railroad seemed to be constantly readjusting the sidings and trackage.

Note: The Cardington branch was opened in 1900.
