| Mid Point Yard in Mingo Junction, Ohio, is halfway between Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and Columbus, Ohio. Thus, there is plenty of train action including plenty of local switching of industries. A GP35 is moving a couple of box cars to the Excel Die Crafters Company on the south side of Mingo Junction. Notice the rolling hills to the west as this area slopes down toward the Ohio River basin. The building to the immediate left is the International Manufacturing Company and the smaller building by the Geep is the Mid Point Yard office. |
